After a tremendously successful sojourn to Austin, Texas—where we brought our unique, buzzertastic Multimedia Movie Trivia format to two of the original locations of the world's greatest cinema chain, the Alamo Drafthouse (and ate a lot of barbecue)—we're returning to our hometown (more or less) Alamo location. Thursday, April 24, at 8pm: It's our third show at the Yonkers Alamo (much fun last November and January), a truly one-of-a-kind cinematic institution (primo food and drink served directly at your seat, a refreshing cell-phones-are-evil policy, etc.)
Also, a preshow video loop of pop-culture game show footage. In other words, "Weird Al" is our opening act.
An important note: This is not our usual team format. Feel free to come alone, because players are flying solo. We're welcoming four audience members at a time to join us at the front of the theater and take their place behind the buzzer, to play a round of the world's finest movie quizness (including our trademark video and audio puzzles), with the winner receiving honor, glory, and goodies from Alamo (e.g., a free pass, food and drink). And no, we're not repeating any questions from the last two times. I mean, come on.
Tickets on sale now; they tend to go fast for these things, so delay at your own risk. Can't make it but need a dose of BQT goodness out in Westchester anyway? Inquire about hiring us for your own private summertime Big Quiz Thing party today!
