Prize sponsor: Peter and the Starcatcher

With eight days till the big Sneak Preview TV Screening Party and Quiz (wait—you still don't have tickets?!?), and the constant parade in this space of info about our A-list prize sponsors, surely I've told you about everyone by now, right? Not even close. Behold: more theater.

Back on Off Broadway after a tremendously successful, Tony-winning run on the Great White Way, Peter and the Starcatcher is a play with music accurately billed as "a grown-up's prequel to Peter Pan"—except that it is also suitable for the smarter youngsters in your care (fun fact: it was the first, and so far only, Broadway show my nephews have seen, age eight at the time). Discover how Peter learned to fly in an adventure crammed with pirates, crocodiles, mermaids, and much, much more. Another fun fact: The show is codirected by Alex Timbers (a Friend of the Quiz and the creative genius behind the titanic Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and Roger Rees (that guy who played perhaps The West Wing's best minor recurring character,  Lord John Marbury).

The show's at everyone's favorite midtown theatrical multiplex, New World Stages (same venue as fellow prize sponsor iLuminate's Artist of Light). Details and tickets at, but of course, PeterAndTheStarcatcher.com. And yes, we got a handful of passes as part of the #BQTonTV party/quiz prize haul, but for that, yes, you do need to buy tickets. Isn't that what money is for?
