The '90s are coming! The '90s are coming! The Big '90s Quiz Thing is at Brooklyn's Littlefield this Thursday—get those hot little tickets now, if you haven't already, and prepare yourself for a titanic (pun intended) evening of multimedia lost-decade quiz fun—plus live band karaoke courtesy Rock Star Karaoke. It's the live game show where you are the star.
We've been gradually filling you in on prizes (Quiet Clubbing and Cougar the Musical are merely the iceberg's tip), but let it be said, this is easily one of the most x-treme BQT prize hauls in history. And here's the latest: The Skate Truck NYC.
How did I not know about this? The Skate Truck NYC is, yes, an actual truck that cruises the streets of, you guessed it, NYC, parking in strategic spots, renting out skates to adults, kids, old people, what have you, who are looking for a little eight-wheeled exercise and fun (either classic roller format or, in true '90s style, inline action). They even throw in special events and lessons into the mix.
Glancing at the STNYC's schedule, it looks like they can be found every weekend, either in Central Park (with a DJ!) or on Governors Island (fantastic). And awesome sauce: They are seriously pitching in for the BQT prize haul—on Thursday, we have a whole passel of passes for rentals to give you lucky, lucky quizgoers. Even better: At our stupendous July 9 Sneak Preview TV Screening Party and Quiz at the Highline Ballroom, they're giving away a private skate party for ten people! Your own friggin' skate party!
