Chicago quiz preview: Thursday, June 6

The City of Big Shoulders welcomes back the BQT with open shoulders this coming Thursday, June 6, as we continue or spectacular monthly run at Uncommon Ground in Edgewater. (An extremely tasty venue, BTW.) Quizmistress Katie will be treating y'all to something of a greatest-hits show this evening, as a gap in the BQT production schedule has resulted in me putting together some of our very best material that Chicago has yet to be privy to. On the video puzzle front, it's "Crisp Game Arena (a.k.a. Recipe Anagrams)"…

Can you ID the popular dish whose name is anagramed above, accompanied by three key ingredients? Of course you can. How about ten others? Find out on Thursday. (And doesn't that chicken look disturbingly happy? "I'm so pleased that my flesh will be cooked in a tandoor with yogurt and spices!")

For the audio round, we got "10 Syllables (a favorite of a language geek like me, and you, probably). And more fun with "We'll See You Next Week on…?": Can you name the TV show based on the video clip of its closing credits? Plus, "Movies Go Moobak!": Cinematic explosions become implosions when run in reverse, and you name the film. Trivia don't get no more spectacular, my party-happy friends.
