Boston Quiz Marathon: ImprovBoston details!

Well, then…we are a mere two days away, and the excitement is so thick, you can press it flat onto the pages of a comic book and copy the image: The Boston edition of our Tenth Anniversary Quiz Show Marathon is this Sunday, with ten hours of live trivia excitement, music, films, food, frankly amazing prizes, and much more. Including comedy, courtesy the fine, fine, funny folks at ImprovBoston.

All times are approximate, but here's the lineup…

2pm: The ImprovBoston touring company

This is the best of the best, folks—the improvisers who represent IB the world over. Don't shout out "proctologist!" and you're guaranteed a good time.

4pm: Stand-up from Dana Jay Bein

A vet of the comedy world's both stand-up and improv, author of a well-above-average Twitter stream, Dana has made untold thousands laugh the world over. For evidence, take advantage of Blogger's video-embedding function:

6pm: Mister Diplomat

One of Cambridge's premier improv teams, performing regularly at IB's theater, 10pm, masters of the Harold form. Redeemers of your college improv-watching experiences. A total honor to have them…

8pm: Wes Hazard

You may know him, you love him: My Boston stage sidekick for the past couple months, and a stalwart member of the BQT team, Wes Hazard is also a proud IB affiliate, and is doing the prime-time stand-up slot for the Marathon. Like Cornell West with better teeth, and a whole lot funnier. (And not a bad tweeter himself.)
