This is a nice one: At Monday, April 9's BQT, we're giving away two pairs of tickets to one of the hottest shows currently playing Off Broadway: Silence! The Musical. Just what it sounds like: a comedy musical parody of The Silence of the Lambs. Running for nearly a year now, the show has garnered some seriously rave reviews—unusual for a comedy parody of a horror movie, mind you—and has been extended three or four times. I'd tell you the plot, but judging by the website, you know it already—Agent Clarice Starling is hunting the serial killer Buffalo Bill, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, etc., etc.; man, that's a hell of a movie. Silence!, of course, throws in the twist of songs and comedy, and apparently people dressed as actual lambs, resulting in a truly postmodern—and hilarious—cultural sensation.
