No challenge whatsoever for the real wrestling fan—'tis the jobber of wrestling trivia questions, so to speak. Over the years I've asked the odd pro-wrestling query (and posted the odd pro-wrestling missive: here's one, here's another), and become something of a minor expert on the topic. I like living in a one-bedroom apartment with a cat, I do.
Thus, I have been called. This Friday night, Friend of the Quiz Kevin Maher, host of the city's premier nerdtastic variety show, Kevin Geeks Out, is presenting a long-awaited pro wrestling edition, featuring a cornucopia of mat experts regaling the crowd with stories and philosophies (plus wrestling-themed cupcakes; yeah, I have no idea). And I'm on the roster: not with a trivia quiz (as I've done for many KGO editions past), but with a multimedia lecture on a topic dear to my heart, the stable of televised wrestling when I was a kid, the squash match.
