This is a confidence booster: Check out this blog post from QuizQuizQuiz, one of the U.K.'s premier trivia companies (where they don't mess around with their quizzes), about the principal's experience at the BQT last January. The fine fellow, Jack Waley-Cohen, attended one of our shows at the beloved Le Poisson Rouge, and he was just an A-1 stand-up guy when we met to talk shop.
England is of course the motherland for live trivia (even before I went to London and kicked major British ass), where apparently a full half the pubs in London do some kind of weekly quiz. And the corporate quiz circuit is several orders of magnitude larger than ours; Jack told me that nearly every company does a couple of quizzes each year, so QQQ (and its competitors) have plenty of business to go around. Another reason I should move.
More about QuizQuizQuiz here; thanks again for the extremely high praise.
