Sponsor spotlight: Fuerza Bruta and Live In Theater

Hoo-boy, Monday's going to be a hot time. The other day in this space, I told you about how the next BQT prize haul will include bowling-riffic goodies from The Little Lebowski Shop. I just came from picking up said goodies, and goodies is an accurate term: I got some shirts, bumper stickers, a puzzle, and a bunch more. Look Up is the current show from these Brazil aerial masters, famous for their earlier De La Guarda project. It's less theater than a bizarre and spectacular amalgam of live music and jaw-dropping acrobatics. It's a hot ticket at Union Square's Daryl Roth Theatre, but we got a few for some lucky winners Monday. More details here.

They stage interactive, immersive murder mystery productions, like that party game you played once back in the late '90s, but about a thousand times more professional (and entertaining). We have tickets to two of their current productions: The Ryan Case 1873, in which you delve into the seedy stabbings and intrigue of the Gilded Age Five Points…


…and The Lombardi Case 1975, in which you find yourself chasing down a deadbeat psycho killer in an equally grim era of NYC's history. Both are truly unique experiences, perfect for BQT fans, who clearly appreciate unique experiences. (But who doesn't? I mean, among people who are worth talking to?)
