Recap: We have set the record straight

Yeah, I was proud of that little joke, to go along with tonight's Four-Part Question on forthcoming useless movie sequels. (Indeed, they're making a follow-up to this.)

Speaking of Four-Parters, there it is.
President Obama's birth certificate. I used it for fodder for one of tonight's Four-Part Questions, hoping to finally set the record straight. (And no, Smart-Assers: His mother's first name wasn't Bristol. Or Ke$ha. Or Madea.) Are you happy now, Donald Trump? Good.

Tonight's BQT was fun, fun, fun, and man, you folks know your trivia. Inside info: I made a little effort to skew tonight's quiz—from "Rock Logo A-Go-Go" to "TV Themes—In Reverse"—a tad easier than usual, trying to open it up to a new field of contenders. And it showed, somewhat: Nearly everyone did well, with only six points separating first place from tenth place at the end. Is this the new regime? I'm not sure; I can be a fickle quizmaster.

The finale pit returning champs Incontinental Congress vs. buzzer destroyers Cash Cab four Cutie vs. Gerard Depardouche. Three nerds in glasses, predictably. But Matt of the Congress made it quick, winning it in three questions, ending it with the climactic "What phrase is commonly associated with American poster artist James Montgomery Flagg?" Got that?

We have to figure out a better angle.
